No doubt that a couple of you realized that I did not update this section in November. I was reminded that my column duties were not fulfilled several times by my wife. And a couple more times from Mike Earp who was scared into asking me for it by my wife. She was concerned that we were not keeping our site current.
I learned something about myself during this critical time. I don’t care about much when the rut is on in Iowa. I assume most of you feel the same way in your part of the Whitetail world. After a couple of days I even put a message on my answering machine telling people not to leave a message because I would not get back to them. I figured that was better than just not getting back to them. After all we strive for excellent customer service and communication typically causes most issues in business. I was definitely clear in my communication.
We are in the process of finishing up our 2010 products. As usual, we did not leave good enough alone. You will see many new upgrades in our treestands, climbing sticks, and camera arms. We actually left most things on our Safeguard Harness the same. Our commitment to quality is what drives our product decisions. We do not pick a price point and make a stand to fit a category. Our goal is to make the best products on the market and price them accordingly. Hopefully our customers will agree with our philosophy.
Facebook allowed us a great venue to ask for customer comments on what they would like to see in our products. Great suggestions were offered and we even put some of them into the 2010 products. If you have not checked it out I encourage you to sign up as a fan.
We have finally started getting some commercials in for our contest. Several have rolled in this week. We should have them updated after the Mathews show. The end of December is the last chance for this year’s prizes. We are giving away over $12,000.
I hope you all have a Merry Christmas. As you celebrate the birth of our Savior, I wish you all a Muddy day.
